Winemakers tasting notes

Colour: purple overlaid with dark cherry, somewhat translucent, typical of Hunter Shiraz
Aroma: Restrained at first, opened up as a spicy, musky aromatic wine with abundant elegant fruit. The lift from the Viognier is evident.
Palate: Silky Shiraz dominates with a lifted oak. Good firm tannins, well balanced, with a firm, clean acid finish. Should develop well and become softer and fill out.
